I know that maybe where you live the weather might be a little different from here, but what would you do to celebrate Mother’s Day when is a beautiful 96* outside?
Peggy’s Parents Came from South Carolina for my son’s birthday and to celebrate mother’s day here, and after the Birthday (SATURDAY)… we were all exhausted (Click here to check all the pictures - PICTAGE).
So Sunday morning we were all inside the house asking each other about what we would do to celebrate Mother’s day. That’s when the idea of going to the beach and having some lunch around there came up.
Here are some pictures of our day.
P.S. Since I am the Photographer… guess the only person that does not show on these pictures!!!
We all went for a nice lunch at Oasis Cafe (Fort Lauderdale Beach)
At the end of the day we enjoyed the beach for a while
Ryan loves the beach

Today is my son’s birthday, but is also mother’s day. So My wife and I decided to celebrate Ryan’s birthday yesterday, so today we could focus more on mother’s day.
Ryan just turned 4 years old. We always celebrate his birthday in our house. So we have to organize the backyard, clean the house, take care of the garden, paint the deck, etc… To say the truth, It is a realy hard work just for a birthday, and we do that every single year.
But now, the party is gone and we have one year to rest until Ryan’s next birthday . I just want to wish him a Happy Birthday and show you few of the pictures that I took yesterday.

Here, Ryan is hugging few of his friends ( most of his friends are girls )
Do you remember a post that I wrote one week ago, about my son’s T-Ball team (Click here to read it), and that I was telling you how I uploaded all the pictures to Pictage?
Here is a cool Video Show that I created with that pictures.
I hope you enjoy it… (Remember that I had to download this Show in LOW RESOLUTION . There are more than 500 pictures to play in less than 4 minutes).
Ok. You already know that I love Photography and Video, etc… etc… etc…
But, what I haven’t told you yet, is that I also love to read. The only thing is… I don’t read drama or novels. I just read books that I think that will improve my life in somehow. Example: I love to read books about Photography, Photoshop, Video, Editing Systems, so I can improve the quality of my work. But I also like to read books like; Marketing, Do it yourself (projects), Self Help, HOW to… (books) and any other book that teach me how to be a better person or how to improve my financial status.
I just finished reading a great book “The Automate Millionaire Homeowner - by David Bach”, you can read more about the book or the author at www.finishrich.com.
It is a very easy book to understand and give you a lot of helpful tips about how to built a secure financial future using Real State as a tool. The author also gives a lot of other helpful websites so you can keep you own research. Remember that this book is not about making money fast, or flipping houses.
Anyway.. I thought that this information would be helpful to you. If you have the chance, please don’t hesitate to try this book.
I just sent all the pictures that I took that day to PICTAGE. Pictage is a company that handle my photography files and you can order any picture from the T-ball game direct from them ( Click here to check the pictures ) .
But…
In one or two days I will post here a Video Slide Show that I am creating with that pictures…
Come back in few days to watch the show… I think that you will be amazed!!!
What else can I say. I normally spend my weekends on my computer, or watching some TV show that I saved during the week. Yesterday was different
My wife, my son and I went to a birthday from my son’s friend, that was celebrating his 3th birthday. It was a very casual party and they mentioned in the invitation to bring Swimming Suit.
Good food, pool with heated water and a perfect weather… What else could I ask?
Look this picture that I took from My son and his girlfriend.
Cassandra and Luke are going to get married in September of 2008. Cassandra (the bride) contacted me few weeks ago asking me to be their Photographer. After few emails back and forward, I finally met her (Luke, with his very busy schedule, couldn’t be there).
I have a very personal rule before I accept to cover a wedding. I have to feel a good connexion between the couple and I, so I would be sure that I am their best option.
As I was saying, I met Cassandra few weeks ago to talk about her Wedding. For my surprise, she is a bride that really knows what she wants. I know that most of the brides have their dress, flowers, church and other details ready few months before the Wedding date, but Cassandra had every single little detail ready. It is even hard to explain with words how good I felt knowing that I will have the privilege of being their Photographer on that special day.
But, what impressed me the most was that she gave me the the address of their Wedding Website. I don’t want to spoil the surprise, so… Here is how she explained it to me:
“The reason I created my wedding website was to keep our friends and most important our out of town family up to date with wedding info… I wanted our family and friends to feel like they could enjoy the entire process of our wedding with us… To see when we made up our minds on certain aspects of our wedding… I thought the website was an important part of our wedding since my FH has so many friends and family all over the place… ”
Today is April 7th 2008… It is my birthday!!! I don’t know why the date on my blog says that it is April 8th… It is still 11:47 pm (April 7th), but anyway…
I couldn’t let the day end without leave a little post about this day.
There was a time that I couldn’t wait for this date. Presents, party, etc… It was so much fun.
Today, the feeling is not the same. Today is just a regular day. Actually a good day!
Does everybody feels the same way about their own birthday?
Yesterday I was helping my wife Peggy with some ”Still Life Photography” for her portfolio.
We spend half of the day preparing props, lights and everything else for this shoot. She had two different sets that she wanted to try. Here is one of them.
I have been really busy lately… No complaining here
It has been very hard to write a post every day. But I was looking here one picture that I took few weeks ago (Easter) and I thought that you would like to see it.
I went Egg Hunting with my wife and son on this little park not to far from my house. At the park, there were at least 100 kids waiting for the Easter Bunny. The sky was dark and almost raining.
I was taking some pictures of some people around and I noticed this woman looking in my direction, so I took the shot.
I just gave a fast look at a cool new product from ADOBE, it is the ADOBE PHOTOSHOP EXPRESS.
At first, it felt a lot like a combination of Photoshop and Lightroom for online users. To say the truth, it was very simple and very efficient. There are some features there that I wish that Photoshop could take advantage of.
